End Mills

End mills are cutting tools used in industrial milling applications. They are distinguished from the drill in its application, geometry and manufacture. While a drill can only cut in the axial direction, an endmill can cut in all directions. Endmills are used for profile milling, tracer milling, face milling, plunging, contouring, slotting, drilling, and reaming. There are many different types of end mills for specific applications including square, ball, radius, finisher, roughing, rounding and undercutting.

Drills

There are many types of drills, each designed to perform in different materials such as steels, cast irons, aluminum, stainless steels, plastics, composites and alloys. Each drilling application has specific requirements from deep holes, pilot holes, micro applications, etc. In the metal cutting industry, CNC drilling uses either milling machines, drilling centers or lathes to produce round holes. RedLine Tools offers a full range of drills for every application including; Micro Spotting, Spotting, Micro Drilling, Stub Length, Jobber Length, Screw Machine Length, Taper Length, Multi-Material, Double-Margin and Combined Countersink Drills. We offer HSS drills for general purpose applications and Cobalt and tungsten carbide drills for production applications which can run faster, last longer and withstand extreme conditions in harder materials and higher temperatures.

Taps

Taps are required to make threads for bolts to hold two pieces together. The cutting end of a tap removes material from a hole in the workpiece in the form of chips that are stored either in the flutes or pushed ahead or behind the tool. We offer a full line of taps for every application.

Thread Mills

Thread mills are versatile substitutes for taps and have several advantages. They have the ability for one tool to make several different types of threads. They are made from carbide and can be used in high speed machines. A single profile thread mill can also be used to chamfer edges.

Specialty Tools

From chamfering to cutting a keyway, there is a specialty tool for nearly any task. RedLine Tools has a large selection to choose from including; dovetail cutters, corner rounding tools, chamfer tools, key cutters, double angle cutters, and engraving tools. Find your specialty tool below.

Dovetail Cutters

RedLine Tools dovetail cutters are manufactured from premium carbide to optimize strength and durability and are proudly made in the USA. Our broad selection includes 5°, 10°, 15°, 20°, 30°, 45°, 60° solid carbide dovetail cutters in uncoated and AlTiN coated.

Corner Rounding Tools

Corner rounding endmills are used to add a specific radius or to remove sharp edges and burrs. RedLine Tools offers carbide corner rounding tools in both uncoated with AlTiN coating. Our selection of carbide corner rounding endmills contains radius sizes ranging from .0100 to .3750. All RedLine Tools corner radius tools are proudly made in the USA.

Chamfer Tools

Need to chamfer a hole or finish an edge? RedLine Tools has an extensive offering of chamfer tools, countersinks, and edge breakers to help you get the job done right the first time. Manufactured from solid tungsten carbide, and available both coated and uncoated, our selection of countersinks, edge breakers and chamfer mills have the hardness and overall durability to remain sharp and effective when high repeatability and output is required.

Key Cutters

RedLine Tools carbide keyway cutters can be used in a variety of applications. Our key cutters are available in solid carbide or steel shank with a carbide head. We also offer a selection of uncoated or AlTiN coatings for use in multiple materials. Our selection includes full radius, corner radius, large diameter, long reach, deep slotting and fine tooth. All RedLine Tools key cutting tools are proudly made in the USA.

Engraving Tools

When engraving, tool selection is critical. RedLine Tools metal engraving tools provide you with an unbelievable selection available in uncoated and AlTiN coated. Our selection of metal engravers include: standard point, spiral flute, chisel style, radius tip, 2 flute, extra-long, fine point, and soft material engraving tools.

Double Angle Cutters

Double Angle Cutters are an extremely versatile milling tool capable of performing thread milling, chamfering, back chamfering, machining V-grooves, deburring and countersinking. We offer 30°, 45°, 60°, 90° and 120° double angle cutters that are either uncoated or AlTiN coated. These cutters are proudly made in the USA from high-quality carbide.

Reamers

A reamer is a cylindrical or conical rotary cutting tool used to enlarge and finish holes, to a precise measurement and finish. There are two types of reamers, hand and machine called chucking reamers. All reamers have either straight or helical flutes where chips, cooling and lubricating fluid pass through. RedLine Tools offers a full line of carbide, HSS and cobalt reamers for all of your hole finishing applications.

Carbide Bars

Carbide bars are used on many different types of applications, most often in Turning Centers and Swiss, however they can also be used in Machining Centers. They are valued for their ability to get into small and tight places and come in several different styles depending on the application. RedLine Tools offers boring bars, grooving bars, threading bars, and profiling bars all of which are made from solid tungsten carbide.

Burs

Carbide rotary burs are used for cutting, shaping, and grinding materials in a process called deburring. They are versatile tools and can be used on many different materials including carbon and stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and plastics. They are often used in hand tools and milling machines depending on the application. RedLine Tools offers a wide range of styles of carbide burs for any application.

Toolholders

A toolholder is a device that safely provides a critical interface between the cutting tool and the spindle of the CNC machine. The cutting tool is mounted into the holder and is tightened so it does not move or vibrate during machining; providing the stability you need to ensure precision cuts every time. Redline toolholders are all guaranteed to meet or exceed all AT3 shank specifications to ensure a proper fit onto your milling machine spindle. We offer Cat 40, Cat 50 and HSK63A toolholders in: shrink fit holders - ER11 – ER16 – ER20 – ER25 – ER32 – ER40 – TG100 – TG150 collet chuck holders, hydraulic chucks, endmill holders, face mill (shell mill) holders, tap (rigid and tension & compression) holders, Jacobs taper holders, slitting saw holders, stub arbor holders, Morse taper holders, boring head holders, adapters, toolholder packages, and more.
