VersaStop
The VersaStop is a rigid precision workstop you can rely on
for quick and predictable results.
- Stop rods with diameters of .062” - .394” can be utilized
in the VersaStop system. Stop rods can be nearly any
shape; square, round, oblong, triangle, rectangle, or a
hexagon.
- When a 1/4” or larger stop rod is used, clearance issues
are eliminated because the stop rod becomes the highest
point of the system.
- The stop rods can be conveniently loaded directly from
the top which eliminates the need to slide it to the end
for removal or insertion.

VersaStop - Set up and Use:
Your RedLine Tools VersaStop is shipped ready to attach tp your vise.
For correct installation, rest the mounting bracket square on vise ways and fasten it with the supplied 1/2-13 socket head cap screw. Insert the desired stop rod into the stop rod clamp, position to desired length and tighten the clamp to 30 in/lbs. Warning never tighten over 40 in/lbs.
Position the stop by loosening the pivot clamp screw. Once in position, tighten pivot clamp screw. Do not exceed 100 in/lbs.
Your VersaStop is supplied with 1/4" diameter stop rods. Your VersaStop will accept stop rods from 1/16" to 3/8" in diameter. Clearance issues may arise when using stop rods smaller than 1/4" diameter. A shorter or longer bolt may need to be used when using other stop rods.
